01 · The Challenge
The Jack Ma Charitable Foundation is dedicated to promoting human progress and social-environmental harmony. Its "Rural Teachers Initiative" identifies 100 outstanding rural teachers each year.
Traditional model's limitations: Rural teachers lacked an equal platform for visibility and exchange — trapped in an unequal "giving and receiving" dynamic. Quality resources couldn't reach the grassroots. Breaking information barriers to let resources actually flow, and igniting internal motivation, was the core challenge.
02 · Field Research — Co-creation from the Ground Up
One Year in the Field, Three Provinces
A year-long immersion in rural schools across Guizhou, Yunnan, and Sichuan. Staying in schools, sharing meals, documenting real-life contexts. Teachers were invited to participate as co-designers — continuous iteration based on their feedback.
