"YouShu"
Consumer Experience Insight System
Turning user experience from a "feeling" into something visible and measurable.
In the early days of data-driven commerce — solving the problem of "data you can't see or understand" — transforming complex user behavior into intuitive visual insights and establishing scientific experience measurement indicators.
01 · The Challenge
The Experience Black Box: During Taobao's critical transformation to content-driven discovery, the team faced a severe challenge: business decisions depended excessively on intuition, with no data foundation.
The "Buy" vs. "Browse" Gap: Traditional tabular data only reflected transaction outcomes (buy) — it couldn't quantify user browsing depth, interaction heat maps, and discovery behaviors (browse). Experience optimization had no scientific basis.
02 · The Solution
From "Transactions" to "Experience"
Building the "YouShu" consumer experience data platform. Through visual analytics technology, transforming opaque data into intuitive visual insights. Establishing a complete quantitative evaluation model covering the full journey from "transaction → experience → retention."
03 · System Blueprint
Full-Chain Insight
From behavioral data collection to reusable visualization components.
